• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Making a run from San Antonio to South Carolina in October. Following the coast on Hwy 90 during the week of 7 October and returning up north through Tupelo the next week. If anyone has suggestions on things to see please PM me.

Places to see & eat

On your travel in South Carolina, stop at The Smokin Pig in Pendleton, SC. It is about 3 miles NW off I-85 (exit #19) near Clemson & Anderson, SC. They are open only Thurs - Fri - Sat. Order the Combo (Ribs - Pulled Pork - Brisket) with Loaded Baked Potato Casserole & Sweet Potato Crunch as your sides. The best BBQ we have ever had. We travel 125 miles (one way) just to have a meal there. The Smokin Pig

I ride part of 90 a lot, between New Orleans and Biloxi. Just before you get into Slidell, LA, you'll hit Ft Pike, an old fort from 1812. It's ramparts and cannons are still on display. It's a great place to stop for a picnic.
