• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger speakers

Ride Forrest Ride!
OK...
I just know that someone has installed speakers in the passenger pods.
I have an RT with the convience package. ( Audio/Radio only.)
1. Is the Passenger pod already wired for connection to the newly installed speakers?
2.. What does one have to day in order to get the speakers in the passenger pod to work.

I have chatted with two different dealers and I get the following.. " Don't know as I have not done that "

Please advise..

thanks

Others here have reported that the wiring is already there. I'm sure a search would get you the details. If you use aftermarket speakers, you will need to change connector sizes, according to Lamont. Get out your Torx screwdriver.

IF YOU GO TO OVERSTOCK AUCTION.COM AND SEARCH YOU WILL FIND THE POLK SPEAKERS.
I PAID 15.01 FOR THE REAR PLUS SHIPPING, THEY ARE LIKE NEW FROM THE BEST BUY OUTLETS.

Great... now I have a good start..

It is really nice to know, of all the so-called techkie's, and so-called trained peeps, that none could answer my questions as you..

Thanks much.
:2thumbs:

True, but going back and reading my first post..# 1 was indeed answered. But # 2 was only answered by the video.

Golly gee, It is so difficult in getting old...
I would have tried to help with the specific directions to access the speakers, but I had an RTS, so I didn't ever add any or change them out. The video was just the ticket. Glad I'm just a pup...LOL.
