• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger Backrests and Storage Covers

Passenger Backrests

My wife has an RT-S SE5 and I have a F3T. Our daughter is old enough to come with us now and generally rides on the RT with my wife. However, sometimes she requests (read: insists) to ride with me on the F3T. I'm not super comfortable with her on there without a backrest. So, I got to shopping this week. I started with the overpriced offerings from BRP. I REALLY liked the adjustable permanent mount unit, part # 219400601. The back pad is very large and the adjustability seems key for a smaller rider. Will the larger, permanent one fit in the backrest pouch of my outdoor BRP cover?

I'm also considering the SmoothSpyder rest. Anyone with person experience with this unit? The only negative I see is the backrest pad itself seems very small compared to the BRP units. I suppose that's necessary when it's in the forward rider rest position. So, is the compromise worth it for $500 or do I spend double on the OE stuff and get the best of all worlds... Hmmm....

Thoughts and advice appreciated.
