There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Parking Brake

Can the 2014 Spyder RT be left without setting the parking brake. If so, how does one do so? Thank you for responding.

Would need more information on this.
SM, you could. Just leave in gear. but anybody could move it by just taking it out of gear or just puling the clutch in.
SE I have no idea

If you turn the key off without putting the brake on I believe that the alarm quits after 30 seconds or so. However, is the Spyder in neutral or 1st gear then? You would have to push it to be certain. I think that the 2014 turns off in gear unless you actually downshift to neutral. I have an SM so I very rarely bother with the parking brake (unless I am somewhere where I think that some idiot might pull the clutch in)

Sure can. Just turn the ignition off and ignore the beeper. It'll stop after a moment or two. I do it frequently so I can roll my '14 RT SE6 forward and backward to clean the wheels. Don't worry about putting it in neutral first, it'll roll with no problem.

But when you do that have you shifted into neutral? If you just turn off the key doesn't it stay in gear until you restart it? I think the OP is looking to turn it off without it rolling away.

With the engine off and the spyder stopped the clutch will be disengaged. Doesn't matter what gear you're in on an SE. She'll roll away on you if it's not on level ground. You would need to chock the wheels so it won't roll away if you don't set the parking brake.

Thank you all.
