Parking Brake

I see in a lot of literature the issue about a passenger possibly hitting the parking brake while underway.... it's also in the safety video.

Is that a bunch of legal mumbo-jumbo or has anything carrying a passenger had much of an issue with that getting in the way?

Has anyone went to the extreme of relocating the parking brake?

I have only had two different passengers so far. No issue yet.

Sitting in the passenger seat with feet on the pegs I don't see how it would be an issue. I think it's possible that a passenger might try to use the parking brake as a step-up if they didn't know any better. But that isn't going to happen while riding.
