• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't know when this happen,I just seen it today it is on the right side. I took pictures of it and how it's suppose to look like the picture on the left side.I can't pop it back in for some reason.

.....Left side.......................................Right side...

Find a youtube video on how to install a radiator guard and it will show you how to remove and install that piece.

Looks like it's still hooked right, just not seated properly. Give the bottom of the panel a couple whacks and see if it doesn't pop into place. Don't worry about breaking anything - those are some amazingly strong panels that can take a lot of punishment.

I asked which side you were having issues with because the left side when looking at the ryker (Right side when seated) has a cooling hose close to the panel. Some people have issues with it protruding too far into the panel in question and some don't.
My hose does stick out a little too far and prevents the panel from seating properly.

The lighting in the images is a bit dim but I think I can see the unengaged tab on the right side. In any case I feel your pain as I find it a bit tricky myself. It takes a bending/twisting action to rock the ends into the correct position and imho the Operator's Guide does a half-assed job trying to describe.

EDIT: It just hit me that you may need to remove the two screws in order to correctly engage the right side (i.e, start at the beginning of the reinstall process).

Look like that's my problem too.

Shouldn't be necessary - I just added a radiator rock guard and bumper here and was able to do the job without doing that. Granted, it MIGHT have been easier, but I LIKE doing things the hard way.

(And before anyone asks ... standing up in a hammock.) <G>

Someone on here fixed that issue by pulling that cooling hose out and cutting a little off the end of it.
Apparently it's enough to pull the hose in and away from touching the panel.
I haven't bothered to do it yet because it's really not bothering me too much.

Keep an eye out for rubbing damage as the tube ages is all. I'd expect to strip the body back for a good inspection every spring anyway ...

(Ya know, I've heard that some of you have never seen your motor?) <G>

From riders seat, right side. I too had a problem, Remove the top panel (hood). look down on left side(standing in front, right sitting on bike) , above radiator and see if that stud in front panel is seated in the rubber grommet in frame surrounding radiator. It seems one panel out of position can mess up other connecting panels.
Just study how the panels fit, you might see the problem. it took some pushing/ pulling to get them snapped in:thumbup:
