Painting Chrome Parts

Does anyone know of or have an easy way of stripping the chrome off some of the plastic parts, want to paint some of them black and they would probably come out better with the chrome stripped off rather than painting over the chrome.

As much as it pains me to this this; you might just try scuffing it up with a fine sandpaper, to help the paint stick to the surface better.
I'd imagine that anything that would chemically remove the chrome, would also damage the plastic.

IMO, you'd be better off using Plastidip. You won't ruin the chrome finish and if later on you don't like the look, you simply peel off the plastidip coating.

Scotch brite

Take a scotch brite pad and scuff the finish of the chrome real swell, so the paint has something to grip. You should be fine.
