• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Paint Sratches

All I have to say is scuffs & light scratches have never sunk a sale for me when it was time to get rid of my bike. Not being concerned about them makes for happier ownership.

Gentlemen, I have a 2021 Spyder F3 Base with all gloss black plastic and paint and when I got it home and could really look at it I was amazed at the amount of scratches in the finish...looked like someone had sand on a their rag.....I am not new to black vehicles and have had similar problems and I remember these two products from Turtle wax. Turtle Wax T-11 Black Spray Wax - 16 oz and Turtle Wax T-319 Black Spray Detailer - 23 oz.. After about three coats of the spray wax the swirls and light scratches are aout 90 percent better. Never going to be prefect. The detailer is great after you get back from a ride to get ride of bugs...both have a light acrylic black paint in them and fill the light scratches. Very easy to use spray on and wipe off and buff with dry microfiber cloth....was about 30 dollars for both on Amazon. Hope this helps save somebody's sanity...I am pretty fussy and was getting really pis*ed every time I looked at the bike in light. This has helped a bunch.

Get a DA kit from Maguire’s that attaches to your drill. Then by their compound and polish. Works great on black services

i use a few drop of dish soap in a spray bottle,, spray spyder, the rinse with hose, then use a leaf blower, yes a leaf blower, to blow it dry, this way no water spots, works great,,

I have my spyder treated with a GlassCoat, this is a spezialized coating, (nano partikels), that prevent from dust/ scratches, and it makes the surface so smooth I spray my spyder with cold water, and then with Osmosis water, and blow it dry with a leafblower, same as Fredgal. this works for all my vehicles.

In this youtube video is a similar product that I use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PI6hNWmtMU

Oops I goofed, this is a vid, bout windshield coating, DO NOT USE THIS ON PAINTED SURFACES, heck don't even use on windscreens, cause if you use the wipers, it will create a foggy windshield for about 2 seconds, which makes you vulnareble for an serious crash

Btw I now ryde a pearl white Spyder which gets pretty dirty before I realize how much it needs cleaned. White is good!

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

One of the blessings of a white vehicle. They really don't show the dirt unless you look real close. Black...good luck with that one. Real lookers, but you have to clean and polish a lot.

Same here… 2021 Spyder RTL, Marsala Red and Black.. had a February build date…picked it up late February or early March. Saw it after the crate was opened and parts still wrapped in plastic. I think they did not let the paint cure long enough before they wrapped the plastic on it for shipping. Its not super bad but it bothers me.. i’m kindof particular about keeping stuff as pristine as possible.
