• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well the Oyster run was amazing, the whole down town of Anacortes was full from the main street and all of the sides streets and they just kept coming. I left early and all the roads feeding into the town was just a sea of headlights coming down the roads. I-5 was packed, Highway 20 was swarming with bikes and any road that fed into it was backed up at every light.

Our Spider group met a the Farmhouse just out of town, we had 32 bikes and over 40 people seated to eat when Greg, the owner of Lifestyles Honda, came in and picked up the tab for everyone's breakfast! Greg is a great guy and his store places a lot of focus on Canam products, particularly the Spyder line up which he keeps stocked up on at all times. Everyone there is great to work with and his new General Manager Ron (or is it Rob... I hate old age) was a Spyder Rep so he knows the line as well as any one can. All of the riders that attended the Breakfast want to say "Thanks Lifestyles Honda, you are a class act!!

Also of interest is that Ann and Joe of Squared Away where in town doing laser alignments and will be here until Tuesday. They did mine in June and it is amazing how it tracks now.

Hi Sam,

I know you had other plans but just checking to see if you made it out after all. Kind the same old same old but it was interesting to see how many bikes came for it. I wish there were a more diverse selection of accessories, every thing is leather or Harley, lol. I had an oyster shooter that was fabtabulas but didn't car for the Oyster Rockerfella version, lol

And then there is Randy...you are the man

This year I was ryding with my Samaritan Riders group to Oyster Run...when we went by the Farmhouse and all those Spyders were in lot...I reallllllly almost jumped ship...:yikes: but just be warned..next year I ryde with the Spyders.
And Randy it is so comforting to know if a Spyder has a hiccup (like mine did) that all I had to do was call the "troops"...aka, Randy, Donn & Steve and I am guaranteed the best hugs oh yea and then there is the getting Studly to like "his" key..
Thanks Randy...it was an awesome Oyster Run...
ps...it is all about the folks...everything else is secondary..just sayin'

:agree: Thank you lifestyles for the breakfast and your staff at the event were great too...:thumbup::thumbup:

It was great seeing you again Karyl, and yes the oyster run was amazing, just the shear #s. Hope you get key code issue fixed right away.

I really don't care for oysters normally but I said live large and bought a couple while I was there. The shooters were fantastic and I am now hooked!
