• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oyster Festival in Urbanna, VA

If you like seafood as much as my wife and I do, this would have been the place to be. If I can give you a visual...try to think of a super small sea-side town. The main source of income comes from the Chesapeake Bay. Once a year, they close the entrances to the town and hold a huge Festival. Talk about seafood!?!?! They had it all. Oysters, shrimp, clams,...I literally stuffed myself. The both of us!! But that was only the start of our adventure. On our way home, we made a pit stop for gas and to stretch our legs, and guess what we saw?!?!?!? A fellow Spyder Ryder!! And he is a regular on the forum. SpyderDon !!! He and his wife were just returning from a +200-mile round trip lunch ride with a few of their friends. Don , I apologize, but their name escape me right now. At any rate, it felt really good running into a fellow Spyder Ryder, who is also Retired from the same branch of the service as I am, and who is also on the SL site. It was a great ending to a perfect day of riding around with my wife. Don, if you happen to read this post, PM me anytime you are up for a ride. (usually free on weekends). For all the folks I had promised photos of the event...oops! I was so busy stuffing seafood into my mouth, well, you know the rest. This is all I was able to squeeze out...no pun intended. Time to start planning another adventure...Gatlinburg around Thanksgiving sounds nice. We'll see!!!!
