• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spent my black Friday with AIW (Angelic Italian Wifey) & headed from our home in Metairie, LA, suburb of Nawlin's to Hattiesburg, MS Power Sports. Below is new vs old stock tires.
Had a laser alignment done which proved fruitful as there were some adjustments to be made.

Next time I'll learn to pull the wheel myself and will go with a car tire.

BONUS BONUS BONUS :
I asked if they would be willing to sell me an additional 3 year B.E.S.T. Warranty for $750 and they said yes as that was a reasonable $100 profit over their cost...
my VIN number is then run and yes yes yes...
it already had the BEST 2 yr warranty promotion as part of the original sale. I'm good till March 2018 !!!

Walked next door to Dairy Queen for lunch.
Left at noon, returned at 7pm...machine ran flawlessly, even impressed with nighttime lighting
total 250mile today...wifey very happy

the manual says 26-30psi depending on load

I just purchased and picked up the bike on Tue from a private owner

RE: Tire pressures--I have run 28# in my tires forever. The rear tires (OEM Kendas) always wear out in the middle first. My two latest tire changes are now being inflated to 26# to see if that will have any effect on the ballooning which causes the centers to wear out first. The jury is still out as to whether or not that will help.

D,
I've dropped down to 24 psi on the Kumho tires; no apparent losses in the handling department...
(I think that they've got stiffer sidewalls, than do the OEM tires.)

I offer this as a fact without explanation, but:
  • properly inflated rear tires will wear in the middle first.
  • under inflated rear tires will wear in the middle first.
  • over inflated rear tires will wear in the middle first.

Glad you found a dealer you're happy to work with, and you should feel much more secure on that new tire.

How many have found dealers that will install a dark side tire on their bikes? I'm looking for a garage mechanic who might be willing to do mine.

I just bring the wheel to my local tire shop,he has no problem mounting whatever I want on the rim and balancing it with dyna beads.
