• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Over White Pass, back Snoqualmie Pass

Friday morning I told the wife, "get ready if you want to go on a ride". Got the Spyder out of the shed, dusted it off, loaded it up, and away we went. Left Yakima WA. headed West on Hwy 12 to White Pass. People were skiing and snowboarding at the top of the pass. Drove on over to Morton and turned North. Went thru Elby, where the old train that runs in the summer for rides is. Have ridden on it with the daughter and her hubby. Called the daughter and told her we were going to be stopping in Eatonville. Met them, had some food and then went on up to 167 to Auburn and got on Hwy 18 East till we picked up I 90 East. When we got to Ellensburg, we stopped at Red Horse Cafe for coffee and a slice of pie. Headed home going down the Yakima River Canyon to Yakima. Saw a group of deer when we first started into the canyon, right next to the road. It was getting close to dark when we got home in Yakima. Put the Spyder away, it can get cleaned up today. Had just a little bit of light rain for a few miles north of Morton. Just enough to get Spyder nice an dirty, but we didn't get wet. It was plenty cool, glad we dressed for the cold. Anyway, a nice ride, gone about 8 and a half hours. Left with a full tank, refilled in Eatonville and again in Ellensburg. Eburg to Yakima took another gallon. So it used around 10 gallons of gas. Nice ride and a little time with the daughter and her hub. Today, I'm going to clean the Spyder so it will be ready for the next ride, maybe Thursday next week. Should be the opposite weather - warm instead of cold. Nathan in Yakima Wa.

I drive the Yakima River Canyon a lot rather than the I-82 freeway. Probably will go North in the Canyon on May 11th.
