• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our summer trip 2012: 1st leg--Missouri and OK

After having a wonderful time at Spyderfest :yes: we headed back to Florida for a few weeks. Pensacola celebrates Fiesta of Five Flags every year, a celebration of the 450+ year history of the city. We had one of the many balls to attend, as well as a few other things to take care of. We headed back out on the road on May 23 and spent the night with Ed's son. We arrived back in Ed's hometown of Marshfield, Missouri on May 24. Unfortunately we weren't able to get in much Spyder riding since we had a lot of cleaning to do around his dad's home. We were able to get in a run to Cowtown to pick up our Elka shocks, traveling back to Marshfield on Route 66. We also made a trip to Lake of the Ozarks to visit with Ed's cousin and wife. We hoped to catch up to the MoGang, but we never did manage to find them. Here are a few of our pictures from the trip to the Ozarks:

We pulled up roots in Missouri on June 4 and headed to Oklahoma City. We were able to get in a nice ride along historic Route 66 and these pictures are from there:

Last night we were able to get in a short ride with Chris (Bigspark) and Diana Biggs. We all headed to a local BBQ place and had a very enjoyable dinner, talking Spyder stuff. :chat: The weather threatened to ruin our visit, but the rain held off. The new Skydancer pedestrian bridge in OKC was interesting to look at as we rode back to Tinker AFB but I wasn't able to get any usable pictures while we were moving. Today has brought us rain all day long (:cus:) and tonight isn't looking any better. We are itching to get out and ride but the radar is showing some strong bands coming at us from the south. Hopefully we'll be able to explore the area tomorrow and post more pictures. Until then, ride safe wherever you are.

Wish we could have met up in Lake of the Ozarks!
:agree:...we weren't sure if we were ahead of you guys, or what. We thought for sure we would have seen (or heard) some of you guys up there, but...we'll be back in Missouri whenever we finally decide to finish up our trip west. Hopefully we'll catch up with you guys on a group ride again before we head to Florida. It was a bit of a last minute thought to hook up with the MoGang but we couldn't see any sense in going to Cuba to ride back to the Lake. We had a great day, anyway, visiting with Ed's cousin and his wife.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, hope the rain doesn't interfere with your plans tomorrow. Safe ryding!
