• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ordering Parts

Like a noob, I didn't check the manual on how to properly tow my Spyder when the tranny computer died. I had the tow truck driver anchor to the left, front foot peg support hoping it would survive the short ride but it didn't. It's the piece right behind the parking brake and purely cosmetic. It's actually easier to set and release the brake with it missing...

I found the part on the catalog and tried to order the part from a couple places on line but they've come back that it's back ordered or unavailable. If I try to order from dealer will they be able to get it or am I screwed? :dontknow:

I believe your referring to the LH support for the foot peg.
Found it here; http://robsperformance.com/fiche_section_detail.asp. Look in the (09) Body and Accessories Rear, portion of the fiche section
On their parts display it is part #43. BRP's part #705003335, cost $79.99 + s/h.

I replaced mine after I was hit by a car. :gaah: I was lucky and through up my leg up, just as she hit me. I found it not to be difficult to install.
Good luck. :doorag:

Backordered parts are not uncommon. Your dealer can pout them in to the order system and get them to you when they arrive. Mail orders may be handled differently, by some dealers, partially due to the rules regarding credit card use.
