• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One more wake-up

One more wake-up and the ride begins. This will really be a challenge for both of us. We will have to ride 4000+ miles in six days. It will all be interstate, but still, it will be a long time in the saddle. Really getting excited about it. 50th reunion of class of 1962, Kaplan High, Kaplan, LA...see my 86 year old mom, Jennifer's aunt, and our son Aaron in Decatur, Illinois. It will be a whirlwind !

Looking forward to meeting you next Sunday. I will be available anytime. I can meet you at the Denham Springs exit. There is a Waffle House or a CC's Coffee House or McDonalds or Burger King or I can just say Hi at the gas station.

be careful,

Don't divide 4000 by 6.
Anyway your going to have to do well over 600 per day. Your talking about good 12 hour days in the saddle including gas stops every couple of hours etc. An average speed of 60 is hard to do overall . Stay hydrated and awake. Jennifer, a good kidney punch every now and then will keep him alert :yikes: along with a lot of coffee!
Do be careful,

Sounds like fun. But, that's lots of miles and hours - even in a cage. Stay safe.
