Amazon is offering their Prime Membership for $73 (normally $99) through Sunday at midnight to new customers. If you aren't familiar with Amazon Prime some of the benefits are: Free 2 day shipping at Amazon.com; Amazon Instant Videos (similar to Netflix); Amazon Cloud Drive with photo and video storage; Kindle Owner's Lending Library and my personal favorite Amazon Music.

With Amazon Music you can download thousands of songs for free and the best part is that you can play them back offline. I used to use Pandora Radio for music while riding my Spyder, the cost was $4/month and I would lose connection quite often if I wasn't in a city and you ate up data usage while playing music. I used Amazon Music on the Alaska trip and I never lost a connection because I was playing music offline. You can set up playlists just like on an MP3 or Ipod too and they are constantly adding more music everyday.

For me Prime is a great deal even at $99 but if you can get it for $73 you should check it out.

Amazon Prime has a limited number of free instant videos, mostly TV shows. Most movies (not all), you either rent, or buy. I use it primarily for the free 2 day shipping, which more than pays for the annual membership. Everything that I have ordered that was prime eligible has always been delivered in two days, even on Sundays. And as a bonus, more than one person can use it. On my account, I use it, as well as my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. You can set up a method of payment (credit card) & shipping address for each person, so I don't have to do all of the ordering for everyone. When I joined, I thought it was a good deal at $99.00, so I would jump on the $73.00 price. Not everything on Amazon is prime eligible, but you can use a filter to see what is, as they often offer the same things from different vendors, some of which are not prime eligible, but often comes with free shipping, just not two days.
