• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The kid graduates from basic this week so I am driving down (in the car because it's hot and I am a delicate flower). At MoHicks BBQ right now for an early dinner

Congrats little SMOKE! Where's he going, or does he know yet?

He has no idea yet but I hope there is no sand

Probably should have said Young SMOKE nojoke :opps:

Doubt he will see sand for a while....sure hope that's the case :dontknow: think the AF still likes to train'm up a little before turnin'm loose

Keep us posted Dad.

Tell your son THANK YOU for his service.

Best guess is he will get more training before you have to worry about him seeing any sand. They will give him some desert training first, and then he might see sand. My daughter is doing her desert training right now, and should be going to the sand box anytime between October to January. She has been in for 22 months now, and looking at her first deployment. My nephew was in for 13 months before the Army sent him there.

Congrats from an old head. He'll go to tech school now. Then after school on to his first duty assignment.

I'll let him know you're pulling for him guys. I find myself on base at Fort Hood Tx this morning
