• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

But, I can tred water for hours.

Chas

I wish I owned a Yacht. I've only walked aboard one while it was docked.
Closest boat I would own would be inflatable.

Nice !!

hate to tour it after foul weather...:roflblack::roflblack: must be a fair weather yatch. Now you think we get bad mileage..!! :roflblack:

Watched an indepth show with rich and famous

Donald Trump was fuelling his yacht for an ocean excursion.

And was not even surprised with the heavy fuel bill for a fill up.

Ah, get this guys and gals. The price was an astounding $1,000,000
Man that's a cool Mill just to fill your tanks.

I Hope it was only 94 octane. ;-)
Yes well, there's no need to scrimp and save now, eh? Hahaha

I wonder what a service call is worth, to change the oil?

Chas

Patti,
Did you know that your mask makes you look rather exotic??

When I was working, one of my clients was a custom yacht builder. They were finishing one before going out the door. They start at the very bottom and clean and vacuum their way out. I asked if I could just have a look. You'd of thought I was asking to take it out for a spin. I couldn't even touch the rails. I asked the manager why they do this if they have to sail it out to the customer. He said they do this heavy cleaning then do it again before the customer takes possession. And these were only 100 footers.

We've seen quite a few big yachts when we go to Beaufort, NC. Recently saw a 150 foot with it's own crew dressed in blue stripped shirts, white pants, white deck shoes. As soon as it docked for fuel (diesel) they broke out the rags, cleaner and windex. Talked to the Master (capt) and he said they'll ONLY take on 7,000 gallons of fuel. That thing was sleek looking.

And I thought our 23'party barge was big :yikes: Shut it off way through couln't afford to look anymore:roflblack:

I've worked on several yachts at a local yacht yard over the years, biggest one was an 85 footer. Can't even imagine a 196 footer :yikes:
