• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK SO WHO IS WATCHING ECLIPSE OR WHO HAS A LIFE?

Nice....

Have a couple myself with the selfdarkening lenses... don't even know what angle we are at or what we may see....:dontknow:

I'm on my construction site, in the path of totality , have a pair of glasses will stop and check it out, then continue on with my life.

Had a good view for awhile but we are now under cloud cover. We wont have totality but we will have 94% if the clouds go away.

We have clear skies. I'm not watching it but definitely experiencing it. Everything is going darker, but it's not like in the evening when the sun is setting. Very different, strange and beautiful quality of light in the yard. Weird to be putting on lights inside the house in the middle of the day.

now i am not sure and not really worried but will there be vampires & werewolves out during eclipse that i have to be cautious about?
how many have a wooden stake crossbow & silver bullets just in case?

just watched it between clouds ,used the same welding lens i used the last time 27 years ago, that time it was total eclipes

We had about 90% coverage. All clear and sunny, but now past its prime. I expected dusk, but didn't get that. Stayed sunny the whole time, just not quite so intense. I had a pair of solar glasses and was able to view it. BTW, rhere was some rustling in the bushes, so I kept away from them....hate to be attacked by a "herd of sasquatches"! Or should that be sasquatchii?
