oil light now check eng light on?

Ok, while I was on a ride yesterday, not a long one, my oil light went on, while a few minutes from home, pulled into the garage, and checked under vehicle, no apparent signs of oil leak, Don't know where the dipstick is? Let it sit overnight, now the oil light is off, but the check eng. light is on, I can't call the shop until tomorrow, they are closed, I believe they will pick up the spyder, but anyone out there have any ideas? The shop perfomed an oil change and general riding season check up around June? I believe, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. didn't skip a beat or drive badly on the way home and started right up this am, but turned it right off. :gaah:

Could be the oil sending unit. You do need to check your own oil before rides.

:agree: The oil checking procedure is in your Owners Guide, which you should read. Your dealer should also have covered this at the time of delivery...shame on him.
