• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oh why did I tear my spyder apart before spyder fest?

Of course I powdercoated the lowers and rear rim, now working on new bearings. I normally live by if, it ain't broke don't fix it. But oh no not this time, A two hour job is now 2 days, parts all over. I just had to make it cool looking. Instead I could have left it alone and sat in the easy chair:thumbup: well the more times I tear into the spyder the easier it gets. Anyone else crazy like me.:roflblack:

My rear wheel and pulley are still at the powder coater and I am out of town all week on business. I have a skid plate and HID lights sitting on my bench at home that I had planned to do before SF, guess not.

... that just means that you might be a Spyder Lover!!! I think a lot of us have been there, done that! Not only Spyderfest, but pretty much before any big ride!:banghead:

I hate to do anything to mine before a trip as I'm afraid something will go wrong and I'll not be able to make the trip. I still have to change the oil before we leave on Saturday and even that gets my nerves in a rage. :yikes:
