• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I at surgery on my right foot on Monday and it will probably be a month or so before I'll be able to ride.

Sure do wish I had a handbrake…:banghead:

Best I could do was go out in the garage and start her up and listen to the rumble – I guess I could call that therapy…

Get Well Soon

Sorry to see your misfortune. Sounds like you will be up and riding by Spyderfest. So...Be a good boy and do what the Doctor tells you

Hand brake kits

They do make a hand brake mod that operates the brakes. Check the threads many posts on the subject. Sorry about the foot, heal fast and ryde on soon..

Here is wishing you a quick recovery. They have you covered above if you are interested in a handbrake for your :spyder2:.

Get well soon

I know you miss the wind in your face. I love the area you live in. There are many great places to ride to.
Get well soon.

 That looks pretty "Ouchy"; what did they have to do?
(I've seen that view on several occasions from my own wheelchair...)
It looks as if it's draining nicely...

I had a blister that was over an old broken bone. I messed around waiting for it to heal instead of visiting the Dr. By the time I did,I had a bone infection that required surgery to fix.

Guess you can say I am a poster boy for what happens when you don't take care of yourself.

Diabetic ulcerations here have forced some minor "bone-ectomies" on two occasions for me. It took two years the first time, and 13 months the second to become Bi-Pedal again. 1 gram(!) Levaquin tablets kept the infections at bay...
:lecturef_smilie: When it ain't healing on your foot; you've got to not wait even a day! Once the infecton gets into the bones; your chances of having to be fitted for a Parrot and an eyepatch goes WAY up! :yikes:

There is always a fix for that. I'll tell you so you don't miss the ride:

Put your rear wheel on the rollers
Use a blower in front of your bike, start it up, give it full power
Start your :spyder2:, shift thru gears just like you normally ride

Ride on

Oh, and another note: get well soon to make to the SpyderFest. I'm not able to go, but y'all have fun there. I'll make to one if it's closer to home (Houston, TX)
