• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great news! Does that price include the washers and O-ring? If not, do you sell those too?

Unfortunately the washers and o-rings are not yet off backorder. Our local dealer says they have been using both over with no problems in the meantime. I too had to reuse mine and have had no leaks or problems. When BRP finally releases these we will have them available as well to help out

Great news that someone else is selling them to help people out.... and the price is good too!

I would for sure not worry about the washers.... they are just standard crush washers.... used on tons of other ATV's and bikes.... dealer should already have those.

The O-rings I would replace if you can... but they really should last a long time too...... so I wouldn't sweat it if you can't change that the first time.

We are riders just like all of you, and we too fully understand how bad it sucks not being able to ride because of a backordered part. We're just trying to help when we can to keep you all riding and having fun.

The Spyder uses the Aprilia RSV and Tuono engine; from that, it seems like the filters and washer, etc, should be available at Aprilia dealers, I'll check at the one in Indianapolis and let you know.

I think Ken from Evoluzion has posted on this and stated that the Aprillia uses a different oil filter, either smaller or bigger, I can't remember which.

Correct... BJT....

You CANNOT use the Aprilla filters..

Ken sells both filters... and the Can-Am ones needed for this Rotax engine are longer.

Ken's site current says they are out of the ones we need.

Question? Why when the corect OEM filter is available would you want to risk ordering anything else? That is why we pulled the strings we did to get our fellow club members the correct ones. That way nobody has any problems with getting the wrong one due to a mis-match.

Some people seem to think the BRP filters are too expensive.

I can't imagine saving $5 by using a cheap filter on a bike that cost $16K.

Ditto goes for the BRP oil....

I agree on the oil issue. I have used BRP two cycle oil in my Sea Doo since 1988 and twenty years later, it still has the original pistons, rings, cylinders, etc. Maybe other oil would have worked as well, but after spending big bucks on equipment, why scrimp on things like oil and filters to save a few bucks.

If you have a problem with that expensive brp oil sometimes 13.50 a quart , find out who makes there oil for them.Id tell you ,but id have to kill you first.
