finally replaced the stock battery in my 2009 GS with 80k miles i couldn't believe it lasted this long but riding daily probably helped the life span
when i finished replacing it i was checking to make sure all was working fine since its a fun project changing it on a GS with givi bags and a rear seat on the smuggler end
the right turn signal was acting like it was burnt out do i puled the bulb and was fine
i removed the splash pan to see if my wrench could have pulled a wire
had the bike in reverse and shut off so the lights would blink with the key on but not running
played with the abundance of wires since i have a home done trailer wiring harness (tric led connectors )
the light slowly started to blink very dimly like there was a short but at time continued it would get brighter and brighter till it was operating normal
i put the splash panel after disconnecting and re connecting the right side blinker plugs
all buttoned up again and turned the switch and same symptoms
no blinker then very faint then brightening till on full when it would go full it was a noticeably difference
baffled at this point figured i would post to see if anyone has an idea
bike runs fine no fault indications on the display after its in blinking normal
when the bulb is blinking oddly the indicator on the dash is blinking fast
also the front and rear right are blinking oddly together
