:clap:I have modified the outer plates on my 1500 lb lift table. I now drive on, safety the Spyder then remove the portion of the plates aft of the front tires.
I have shown the welded parts before paint. I used a plasma cutter to cut the plates, this will give you a 1/8 inch gap, just rite. I welded angle stock to the edges and plate stock to the underside. Not that I needed it, but inserted pipe into the pipe supports for added strength. My Spyder is just slightly more than 1/2 the weight that the table allows. Just my latest project from The Foggy Bottom Motor Werks. Enjoy. :cheers:
