• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nothing Buttons?

Noticed above my TIFF display on my 2013 RS-S that there's two nodule buttons that don't do anything. Are these a throwback from the old LCD screen?

if they are lie mine they are Mode& Set and are used for setting clock, etc.but sometimes you have to push them hard, not just a lite touch, I use the Mode sw. on the back of the left grip most of the time as it works great, but there is no set button but that one on the dash.

Little checking..!!

your manual has pictures and explains what each button and light does or is for..if we are talking about the buttons as mentioned above..:agree: Flashing the set (left) button also gives you temp..20130228_115841.jpg If it some others your referring to a visual will help...

You have it covered. Boy, does that bring back some memories. :roflblack:

Ah, this must be for the earlier models. I don't have the ancient LCD screen. I have the TIFF screen. A relic of buttons not removed it seems. Mine looks like this but the M & S buttons (not shown in this example) are BLANK:

The 2 buttons on the top on the 2013 do nothing at all, I've had mine all apart and there is nothing behind them. All the buttons you need are on the left side controls. Mode buttons to bypass the safety screen all on the let side
