• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

in January where the roads are dry, salt free, and the temps are warm enough for a ride in Ohio. I received my title to the new Spyder in the mail this morning and decided to ride the Spyder to the BMV and to my Insurance company so I could tie up the loose ends of the purchase. +1, the BMV was empty so the tag transfer was a ten minute affair. +2, the insurance office wasn't busy. +3, The Spyder is cheaper to insure than my Triumph Trophy SE had been. Only 18 bucks cheaper, but hey, 18 bucks in my pocket is fine with me. I then put about 50 miles on the Spyder before the 48 degree temps forced me home. I should have dressed warmer and rode longer, but I prepared for a long wait at the BMV and insurance company instead of preparing for a longer ride. Oh well, I will take any ride I can get in an Ohio January. By the way, weather guessers say 65 on Saturday. I WILL be prepared for a longer ride this time.

Glad you got your ride in on a January day!

We have been having some above average temperatures in Missouri too! Tuesday of this week I was off work and taking a chance I scheduled an appointment with the service department; where I bought my Spyder and had maintenance and service performed on it. I rode about 35 miles in 48 degree weather. I would call the ride brisk but not bad at all. I got a little cold with hands and face. I have a full face helmet and some winter gloves; but I could have ridden longer with better gloves!

Now I am ready for Spring weather way ahead of time! I'm glad to have my pre-season service done on my ride so I can take advantage of any above average temperatures and ride my Spyder!

I rode to work yesterday and today here in Northwest Oregon. Raining both mornings, but after the freeze we've had the past month, I'll take the rain!!
