• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not Leaving the Fold

I love my RT. I've put almost 9000 miles on it since I bought it last fall. I've already registered for SpyderFest 2014. I've said all this so you know what I'm going to see doesn't come easy for me.....I really miss my two wheeler. I don't need two touring cycles. I just need to get my two wheeler fix once and while. So I've been searching for that fix and this week I bought it.

I like the Bonneville's retro style and the bullet proof power plant. This will be my "run around town" cycle.

Don't ban me, and don't hit the ignore button on my profile. I will always be a HUGE spyder fan.

That is one very SWEET-looking ride! :2thumbs: :ohyea::yes:
:congrats: And here's to lots of very happy miles on it!
...And you're not going anywhere; you're FAMILY!!!

I don't think you will find any dissent here. The Bonne was one of the first "big" bikes that gave me a thrill way back in 1965. They were fast, mean, and very cool. Enjoy your two wheels. Were it not for my back and hip issues, I would also have two wheels. Last year it was the F6B, this year it would have been an Indian. Choices, choices. :roflblack:

Somehow I knew you would be the first to respond, Bob and in some small way I'm glad it was you and that you'd understand. See you at SpyderFest '14

 You WILL have to post more pics of that beauty!! :2thumbs:
My Missus has family up near Iron River; it makes =me feel like a "wnnabee" :D

congratulations! The Bonnie is one of those bikes that just feels 'right' when I sit on it. Quite a looker too. Enjoy.

As my husband likes to say "motorcycles are not like wives - you can have more than one at a time!" Congratulations on the new bike.

In the wind is in the wind . . . I suspect there are quite a few of us who would still be riding two wheels, if we could . . . and that is a sweet looking ride!

Good for you!!!

I also have a Bonnie, 09 Black with yellow side covers and cam cover and a bunch of the add on farkles, air box removal and pods added, progressive rear shocks and front springs, Gaiters, BC Sleeper Peashooter exhaust with Arrow 2 into 2 ECU map. The whole British Customs package really wakes up the machine.
I bought the Spyder for two up riding and still enjoy thrashing the Bonnie solo.

image.jpgKAPike, I am right there with you. Was missing my 2 wheeler so Friday night took delivery of my 2014 Indian Classic Vintage. Man it is a sweet ride. Also kept my 2013 ST Limited. These are not pics of mine but rather the brochure pic and a demo at the Lonestar Rally. Mine is sitting in the garage with 134 miles on it. 100 put on it today, 24 the ride home from dealer and 10 for the dealer to prep and get inspection done.

Please post some additional information after you get a couple thousand miles on it. I REALLY, REALLY, like the new Indians.

That's where I'm at right now, got a two wheeler and the wife has a spyder. As soon as the Spyder is paid off I'm either going for a spyder or a new Indian.:)

Sad yet nice..!!

I grew up with triumphs, gileras, mv agustas, nsu, they were kings of the era. When I built my wing from parts it had the flat seat flat bars no bags or shields radios etc. Gold Wing 002.jpg the new ones are really nice. Though I love them the spyder is the one for me. Hope you have a great time on it and stick around with us anyway...

Can't blame you, Bonnies tug hard on the old heart-strings. I still have a '65, and I couldn't stand to be without it.

Same here guys....I actually got out of 2 wheels many years ago when the kids were very young to appease the wife. Since the kids are now older I was able to get her to agree to the spyder. Now that she's been on the spyder quite a bit and really liking it, I'm looking at another two wheeler again...
I really like the vtwin rotax powerplant and have been looking quite a bit at Aprilias, specifically the Aprilia Falco. However, I might end up doing another, newer 1200 VFR.

Nice bike Kraig!!
