• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not All RT's Are Wired The Same

Recently installed ESI's HMT brake light. Nice looking product, really looks stock after installation, super bright, feel better knowing it's back there when I step on the brake.

However, installation was another matter. I discovered on my RT that the multi pin connector was buried down and behind the turn signal assembly, and there wasn't enough lead length on the wiring to pull it out and work with it. Subsequently, I was forced to remove the turn signal assembly which meant dis-assembling much more of the RT then the instructions indicated. What should have probably been a 30 minute job, turned into about an hour and half. So don't be too surprised if you discover that you can't get to the multi pin connector by just pulling off the tupper ware that wraps around the back of the RT . :gaah:

Mine was a breeze. Sometimes the factory wires will get hung up in the frame making it necessary to wiggle them to free up some slack.
You are right, having that light up high like that gives me a better sense that I will be seen more easily.

Thanks for the info! With your thoughts, and other posting yesterday I think I will remove the passenger backrest for clear easy access. :2thumbs::doorag::spyder2:
