• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey Everyone !!!
The North Shore ride thats coming up soon, there is a few of us that are riding that Saturday 27th. We are staying at the Superior Inn, Superior, WI., that Saturday night. Were meeting at 9AM Saturday morning (27th), Hwy 35 and Hwy 95 (North Branch exit off of 35) at the McDonalds. I am leading (don't laugh) and have a really nice backroad route planned, which will end at the Superior Inn. The next morning we will ride to Two Harbors, to meet everyone else for breakfast. If your staying somewhere Saturday night, come join us for the ride. I'm sure your not that far from Superior, WI.

You are picking up a good time to head up the North Shore for the annual color show.

A suggestion: North of Tofte is the Oberg Mountain Trail. I used to go there each fall, walk the mountain trail, and view the show from the top of the mountain. It affords 50 miles of 360 viewing of all the colors. One side overlooks Lake Superior, the other three sides The North Shore and the BWCAW wilderness area.

The road is paved to the mountain, and the parking lot is big. I believe it is about 5 miles off of HWY 61.

This picture is looking North from the mountain.

Below is looking South if I remember right.
