normal mode sluggish eco mode more power

Hey ya all I do not know if any of you have noticed this type of problem, but when it started getting colder here in Germany I noticed that my F3 in normal mode got a little sluggish off the line I used to be able to spin the wheels off and now it wont even chirp them and in eco mode it will chirp the tire off the line I took it to my dealer with whom I am absolutely satisfied by the way and he had a look and could not find any direct problems and also in buds no fault codes

one thing I did notice though is a smell like rubber getting hot or maybe just by some whim the exhaust
smelling because of this I will be looking a lot closer when I finally get home again if I didn't by chance melt a vacuum line or something,

if any one else out there has had something similar I would love to hear about it


help me get that performance back that I was used to

but maybe the burnt rubber is from the tire spinning....:yikes: they don't chirp as much in the cold...:roflblack: not familiar with the eco on the F3's but mostly it was a indicator for when to shift....:dontknow:

I agree........I thought we decided that eco mode was merely a shift indicator and had nothing to do with ECU fuel maps or timing. It doesn't affect the operation or economy of the engine at all.

Yeah, I have smelled the same smell on my wife's F3 as well. I can't tell if it is from the rear tire or from the exhaust, but it definitely is strongest on the exhaust side. Kind of a hot rubber smell, kind of an exhaust smell. So far we've chalked it up to the bike being new.

No idea on the eco/normal mode thing, sorry.
