There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. nissan frontier, anyone got one? was looking at them

I've always heard good things about Nissan and Toyota. You might take a look at the Colorado quad cab as well I've not had any problems with mine. Good HP and not bad fuel mileage.

Had one.....JUNK! It didn't like getting beat upnojoke.

Toyota-OK (had a Tundra). Ford 150 "rules".

:agree: I've had 2 Tacomas and as much as I beat them up never died. Recently got a Tundra and love it!!!

was going to get a 4 door one with the 6 foot box,
found this 08 for 17800 with 30k on it

was going to put the wheelchair hoist in it.

was this or a tacoma, I have a mexcian work truck a 97 wht chev c1500 2 wheel drive which would be fine if I was not hurt but I should get something with 4 wheel and nicer for what I do, hunting and such.

Had one years ago and it was pretty good -- but the Toyota is a superior product in my opinion - especially the newer ones.

Another thing about Toyota --- they really took care of people that had the frame rust issues with older trucks. Buddy of mine took his 10 year old Toyota truck with 110,000 miles on it to see if it had the rust problem. They banged the frame with a hammer and said -- YUP --- they took the truck off his hands and gave him a check for $8,000 on the spot!

If he applied that check to a new one they added like $2,000 more and threw in a bunch of extras on a new one. He got a new Tundra and that thing is awesome!

I had a 2000 ext cab Nissan and sold it to a niece it had 112xxx miles on it and somebody else they knew wanted it real bad so sold it to them with a lot MORE miles on it and it's still going good. I bought a new 2010 Frontier 6cyl. so I can tow my trailer and :spyder2:s to some places up north. Love it. It's still stiff and not broke in yet for comfort but it's stable and i had a extra warrenty on it just in case. But if I had to do again would probably go with the Ford 150 it's a good truck and made almost all here in US. What's the worst is that it seems like all the new trucks have 20 inch tires :yikes: and ouch!!! Good luck on finding what's best for you. Hight may be a problem with the newer trucks ( the in and out thing)

the height thing is what screws me out of using a tundra, my bro had one and it is a pain the ass getting into like this.

I will check into those colorado's as well.

thanks for the opinions spyder people.

I have an 04 Frontier King Cab 2 Wheel Drive. I have just under 60K miles on it, no issues at all, other than normal wear and maintenance.

I've worked for Nissan dealers for over 30 years and IMHO think they are an excellent product. I believe that the Frontier will give you years of trouble free driving if maintained properly. It does ride a little stiff so make sure you put some miles on it so your comfortable with it. Saturday I purchased a 2004 Frontier Crewcab Supercharged long bed with 125K on it from a private party and I'm very comfortable that I'll get many more years of use from it. They are built in Smyrna Tennessee. As a fellow Spyderlover my technical services and ability to procure parts & accessories would always be available to you.

My current ride is a 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo #233 of the last built which is covered up in my garage right next to my covered up RT-S. Is it almost spring yet ???

I was just looking at a 03 crew cab, that is you can shift on the fly into 4 wheel? it had about 160k on it for miles, no rust that I could see. i was wondering if you had ever seen anyone put hand controls and a wheelchair hoist in one?

The 03's have a manual lever to put them into 4WD and they say you can do it "on the fly" but the truth is it must be done at very slow speeds. I seriously prefer to be stopped or going very slow otherwise they grind when going from 2WD to 4WD I've not personally seen the hand controls or lift installed on this vehicle but I'd imagine they are available. I'll assume you have delt with this issue before and your probably more educated in that area. There is an open recall for a "u" joint on the steering column shaft. I can't tell by the picture if it's an XE or SE but check out KBB.com as a guide for suggested pricing. The only other thing that comes to mind is to see if you can verify if/when the timing belt was last replaced as it should have been replaced at 105K. As with any vehicle with that mileage, it's future will depend on the love it's received over the years from it's previous owners.

for sure I will check, I am really kicking this around, i do not use the truck much because it is just when I can not ride my spyder or hunting or moving stuff. under 10k 4 door with less miles would be what i was looking for.

thanks for the update on them.
