Nice weekend ride

Was visiting in laws in Twain Harte and decided to take a short ride to Dodge Ridge ski area. Two shots from a pull out even though most of the ride was thru the pines and one on a coffee break at the lodge. No photos of the prettiest part of the ride thru the pines but you get the idea looking at the trees in the distance.

The Sierra Nevada mountain range has as much beautiful scenery as any other mountain range on our country. We just have to save it from all burning up.

Since I’m new to open cockpit all of this is a first for me, I see thru the eyes of a child, metaphorically speaking, what many of you have seen for years. I’m glad I found it even if late in life. The fact I can share it with those of you that have done it is a nice thing. I’m learning the difference between riding in solitude and riding with a partner and the juxtaposition of both. There is wonder and discovery in both, thanks for sharing your stories as well.
