• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

nice ride today

My wife and I, after our morning walk decided to go for a ride we went north on MN.32 and took hwy.113 to Itasca State Park. What a nice day had lunch at Lobos and took MN.200 and MN.9 than home to Dilworth made in time for happy hour at the local watering hole I'd call that a perfect day. Tom

Sounds like a great ride. Last time I was in Itasca State Park was in the 60's. We put our canoes in at the headwaters of the Mississippi and did an all day ride on the river. Some beautiful country up there.

I too enjoyed Itasca State Park when bicycling across the country in 2008. It's a nice small bucket list item to see the headwaters of the Mississippi, except for the flying state flower.

flying state flower

Not out in this part of the state yet. The Douglas Lodge isn't open yet no wild rice hotdish for me had to go outside the park for lunch.
