• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was Honored today to take part in a Patriot Guard Riders Flag line for one of 4 surviving Pearl Harbor Veterans living in Spokane, WA. The other 3, now surviving, were there, two in wheel chairs and one with a walker. It was a very moving experience. I especially wanted to take part in this Patriot Guard Ride because I can still remember the day Pearl Harbor happened. I was 5 years old at the time and I remember the seriousness of my folks and neighbors that day. Was living in Jacksonville, Fl. at the time and after Church Dad and I went to the local business area called 5 points to pick up a Sunday paper. We picked up a Sailor hitch hiking and before going very far the radio cut out and an announcement said, "All Military personnel report to their base, all Leaves cancelled." We took him back to the Jacksonville Naval Air Station and of course didn't know what was up for another couple of hours.

That's awesome. I participate in the occasional flag line with the PGR here in Phoenix. It's always an honor.
