Went for a nice 100 mile ryde/ride today...weather in MD was low 50s...a bit foggy...darn helmet kept fogging up...have to remember to wear contacts vs. glasses whenever there is any type of odd weather condition.
Roads were a bit wet but the Spyder did well with every twist and turn...had it up to a decently high mph on the highway too...so many people speed up to get parallel with the Spyder so they can see what the heck it is...very nice!
Lemme see...100 miles on 3.375 gal of gas...figure about 30 minutes of idling time to just keep the engine going and when the hindle was installed...so, 29.6 mpg...add some onto that due to the idling...
What does 30 minutes of idling translate into in regards to amount of gas burned...Scotty, anyone know?
