• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am a newbie to the Spyder family. I just purchased a 2009 RS. I am looking into Handlebar Risers.. does anyone have any suggestions.. Its just a little too much leaning forward for me? I feel like I am pushing the handlebars with all my weight.

I had 4" risers on my 08 and 09 versions. They were custom made by my dealer. No longer available there. You may have to search around for a source.

PS. The BRP 1 1/2" versions were not acceptable for me.

Risers

The most common " Dog Bone " style sold by Custom Dynamics and others are no longer being made to the best of my knowledge ........ You can get Heli-bar style . @ $ 500.00 + ....... I used snow-mobile risers in 09 made by " RSI ", they are still available @ DENNISKIRK.COM in their sno-mobile catalog .....about $70.00 ...... they will work without modification if you have an SE trans ...... if you have a clutch they will need some Grinding to remove some material for clearance ........ Mike ............ PS, these are extremely strong - better than the Spyder ones .... and look good .......PPS , " hungryeye " posted a Thread about risers on 3-17-17 ...... I posted info for the risers in post #9 with part numbers ( sorry I can't do links ) :banghead: ........ PPPS .... contact " Warlock " for good info and Pics
