• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Piloting

What kind of Spyder are you piloting?
I am piloting a 2014 ST-S. I just traded in my HD Fatboy about a month ago. I have been disowned by many :yikes:so am looking for new riding partners. Hope to make some new friends next riding season. Plan on going to SpyderQuest. Would like to make it to Spyderfest, but not sure I can get free from work at that time.

Welcome. I did almost the exact same thing a little over a month ago... traded in my H-D Fat Bob. Got just enough miles on the :ani29: to know that I hope we have a short Winter (and an early Spring) so I can get back out on it. You will enjoy the new ryde.:doorag:

Thank you for your service.

:welcome: and :congrats: on your :spyder:............welcome to the PARTY.........hope you can make Spyderfest and meet up with the gang!

Congratulations!

there's a group of us in Northern Virginia that regularly get together to ride (2 and 3 wheelers), if you're interested.

we usually meet in Loudon or Fairfax County.

Glad to see that you found us! :2thumbs:
:nopic: of your bike? :D
Where do you do most of your riding?
(I've got family about 20 miles South of Charlottesville...)

Welcome! My husband and I were both prior Harley owners (I had an ElectraGlide and my husband, a Road King)...We know what it is like to be "dis owned" by a few..LOL. Hope to meet you at Spyderquest.

Will Post PICs

I will post pics this weekend. My Spyder is a Cognac 2014 ST-S (manual). I get made fun of by Pierre from SpyderTV for being the only one he knows with a manual ST-S. But I got a great deal on it and am used to using a clutch on my Harley. I do not have too many additions since I just got it a little over a month ago. I did add a USB rocker switch and a radio. The term "farkle" is new to me, but I see this putting a significant drain on my pocketbook as I find all these new things to add.

I am always open to meeting and riding with new Spyder friends. I hope to make several rides with PA Spyder Ryders next season. Looks like they have a great group put together.

My hotel is booked at the GEL for Spyderquest, but that is a long way off. I hope to put many miles on my Spyder before then.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.
