• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbee needing help

I'm getting an itch to go Spyder after years of 2 wheeling. We are looking at the 2018 F3 Limited and the 2018 RT Limited. Can't find any F3's in the Tampa area to go see. I like the looks of the F3. Is it easier to change the oil and filters on the F3 than the RT? In pictures, I noticed the F3 has what looks like a gas nozzle on top under the key. Is this for gas or for something else? Since I have lower back issues, would the riding position on the Can Am's be better for the lower back than riding in a cruiser position on a motorcycle? Any advantages of one model over the other? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here's the thing....

As to the oil change as long as they are 2014 or newer with the 1330 triple enging the changing is the same. As to gas filling... the RT has access under the seat but you can add a door. The F3 has access same as most two wheeler. Now as to the lower back issue that is something else. I have lower back issues and the seating on the F3 and the new Ryker will kill me. Now not to say it will you as well as there are others with back issues that ryde those models and do fine. You really need to search out a demo days location and ryde both of them to see. Welcome to this rather informative site and happy shopping

F3L will have a cruiser position. RT more upright. I've had both and prefer the stretched out feeling of the F3L. The RT cramps my legs. Yes the gas cap is below the key. The RT is under the seat. Your passenger has more room on the RT, but they make a trunk extender for the F3L which gave my wife lots of room. So about the same. You really need to go on a long ride on both to see which suits you and your passenger best.

Cadillac or Corvette..... Both are good, but different. I like the Cadillac but a lot of people tour in Corvettes too.

I broke my back in 5 places and have had 9 knee surgeries. I tried my wife's RT and was uncomfortable. I rode an F3T and bought it. I'm 6'2" with a 34 inseam.

You need to ride both to decide what will work for you.

You can probably get a test ride on both at a dealer near you. If you’re planning on riding 2-up be sure you both are there for the test ride.
