• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Yamaha Leaning Reverse Trike Concept

"Butt" is ugly looking quad

Never mind, not going to play my harp today.
Must remain in spirit.

Might also add,
I have nothing against Yamaha. Infact
I play their fine instruments every day. ;-)

Motif XF8, same as Stevie Wonder and so many others... So Rock On!

The Yamaha version seems very similar to the Piaggio leaning trikes.

They did not go very well here and the dealer no longer carries them.

That's just the Tesseract, with new bodywork...

The concept has been around for about 7 years now. View attachment 96183View attachment 96184

Oh yeah, quite familiar with that concept (which is a quad, not a trike). I'm just telling you what Yamaha put out *yesterday*, Bob :joke:

As for the MP3 comparison-- it's definitely there, insofar as the front wheels are closer together than a Spyder's, but the difference between this and the MP3 is this ain't a step-through scooter, it's a "bike" trike. Besides, Yamaha already has their scooter trike in the MP3-like Tri-City, which I doubt will ever come to America-- there just ain't that huge a market for premium 125cc scooters, people seem to prefer buying disposable Chinese junk in that class.

Are the cheap Japanese ones any better?

I know they can build them much lighter, so a much smaller engine isn't really an issue over there in congested traffic. Could be much easier to manuever around too.

Momma said, don't buy a bike you can't lift by yourself.

Have they ever explained, what they feel the advantages to this design are? :dontknow:
Once we realized that the Tessaract was a "Dead-end"; we all sort of lost track of it... :opps:
