• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi All! We are new to the "Spyder-Hood". Bought a 2012 RT Ltd Lava Bronze last October. Hubby has been riding 2-wheels for 45 years, I have been riding behind him for 40 years and I got my motorcycle license 2 years ago and have been riding a Honda Reflex 250 back and forth to work since (weather permitting) Our most recent ride has been 1989 Yamaha Venture Royale we ride 2-up. Lots of miles over the years, most of them the last few years now that kids are grown and out of the house! So far we have close to 3000 miles on the Spyder. It's an awesome ride!! The only problem we can see with it so far is who gets to be first seat behind the handle bars!! This is a great forum and have learned a lot just by reading and paying attention. Feels like a family!:yes::yes:

Welcome, This is what happen to us one :spyder2: and both wanting to drive. The second :spyder2: comes faster than the second kid.
Have fun.

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new ryde. You live in a great state for riding. My first motorcycle trek was to SD, and guess where we went? The Corn Palace at Mitchell, aboard a Yamaha Venture. Small World!

Congratulations on the purchase of a beautiful bike. Would love to see you at the owners' event in Maggie Valley, North Carolina in June.

Gee... If you're already having discussions over who gets the 'bars; could a second Spyder be all that far off? ;) :thumbup:
Welcome to the Party! :yes::ohyea::yes::ohyea::yes:

:welcome: Sounds like it might be getting close to the time to look for another Spyder to join your family. That is what happened with us, and many others on here. :D
