There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New tires!

I used Kumho Solus front tires on my '14 RT-S in the 155-60-15 size for over 94,000 miles, 2 sets.

The first set lasted over 46,000 miles, I thought I had found my tire. Both these sets never wore

down to the wear bars, just wore at the edges, and those edges were bald. The only problem with these

tires was they needed re-balancing every 10,000 miles or so. But they wore so evenly, perfectly.

So my friend Buckeye Bleau has his front tires changed, he buys 2 Federal Formoza AZ01 175-55-15 size.

He smiles when he talks about how much better his '13 RT-L handles and rides. My front tires are looking

like their time has come and gone. So I look at Amazon and see Federal Formoza AZ01 in the 165-55-15

size for $54 each. I order a set and they're on my front porch 3 days later. Now I know why Joe smiles when

he talks about them. My RT has never ridden better. It even steers easier. I have muscle issues with my arms

and thought a wider tire would be harder to steer, not so. At first it was a little scary, but not now. I'm sold!

Dang.... that's a lot of miles! I'll be there some day!

Could tires last too long? When these car tires aren't being loaded as designed, what is the ultimate factor to say they are toast? The rubber compounds have to break down, or the ply's, over time.

" Toast " .... you check tread depth and wear pattern ............. " Break-down " ..... probably seven or eight years, no matter what the mileage on them. Rubber ages and there is a safe limit ........ Mike

What tire pressure were you running in the Kumho tires? Wearing on the edge would indicate underinflation I think. I'm surprised you got that many miles on them considering they weren't wearing evenly across the tread. That might impact the riding comfort and 'control' also, I would think.

With the Formoza's, what pressure are you running? When you talk about riding comfort, what do you mean? Has the handling been affected at all?

If you could supply this info, it would help a lot. Thanks.

I had Federals installed last summer. Have to agree regarding the improved steering 👍🏻
Running at 20 psi , General on rear same pressure.

new tires

I’ve been running Formozas for quite a while now and I love them.

And you run fronts @ what PSI, and the rear @ what PSI??? What kind of mileage are you talking about getting between changes??

Inquiring minds want to know, You and Joe have been conspicuously absent from these discussions of tire pressures, traction and wear.
