• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New tire should be Good for another 25K or so.

New tire bought and installed on the rear of the Spyder. I don't know how many more of those jobs I have left in me. It was a FOUR Ibuprofen job this time.

General Altimax RT45? We've put a lot of these on and owners are very happy with them. I hope you like it! But installing them is a job. Fronts, not so much.

Yep. I have had two RT43's and were pleased with them. I am 69 and haven't been kind to my body and it's catching up with me. I have always done my own work on my bikes including restoring a few old ones, but getting up, down, and around the garage these days seems to take a bit longer with longer breaks in between :gaah: I am in southern Ohio and can be in Greenville in relatively decent time. You may get to do the next tire change

We'd love to have you! But make sure you go to GreenEville and not Greenville. You'll be very disappointed otherwise. While every state has a Greenville, only Tennessee has a GreenEville.

I've done a couple of rear tire changes on my past F3S that were mostly painless. That said, not looking forward to doing it in my RT S2S. Who knows, I just may pay the toll to have it done :( :)

Rears are a lot more work. Especially if you don't mark the hub components to get them back the way they came apart.

Oops. I'm good though. Been through GreenEville many times. I always take the smaller roads to Maggie Valley and I pass through there a lot.

Parts are marked and pictures taken. Get the rear pulley over the air fill valve once and you will never do it again.

I figured it was just a typo, oversite in your case. But just in case others might reference this post, I wanted to set the record straight. We have had customers set their GPS for Greenville and have a rude awakening when they arrived at their requested destination. And I get it. Once you set your GPS, you just enjoy the ride oblivious to the error.

You're right about that! And that's just one of the things that can give you fits if you forget to put alignment marks down as you disassemble.
