There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. New Steering Angle Sensor Recall/Warranty Campaign

Just got a call from my dealer that BRP just issued a steering angle sensor recall/warranty campaign this morning. Evidently the dealer is suppose to check for loose connections on the S.A.S. Not sure if it's for all :spyder: or just the RT. Anyone out there have any additional information on this?

Just wondering if this campaign has anything to do with the recent "handlebar" symbol showing up on my RT and at least one other RT on this forum?:dontknow:

 Thanks for the info! I guess that it's time to give the dealer another call to see what they've got to say about it...

Thanks for the update. Obviously the dealer didn't completely read the campaign.

Still wondering if the "handlebar" symbol I got last week was generated from the steering sensor. Maybe I should check the connections anyway.

It definitely won't hurt anything to go ahead and check the connection on yours. Best of luck sorting out the handlebar symbol issue.

Great 2011 start

I have a 2010 RT and is is terrific other than the 27mpg.

I have to wonder about all the people who waited for the 2011's to arrive, since all of the 2010 issues would be corrected in the 2011 RT.

It is only February, and here they go with the recalls for the 2011 models. I would have thought they were having enough negative comments on the 2010 RT's, that they would have been extra diligent in the build quality of the 2011 models.

A warranty or repair campaign is not a recall. It is merely a service bulletin calling the tech's attention to a known, possible problem.
