• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If only we would get the Shaft (drive) it would be worth it!. Wait a bit its a new item with lots of demand. Next year when the new 2014 ST's come out with the 1,500cc motor the 2013's will be discounted.

Hey Bob . They had the ST at a bunch of dealers this week. Did you get to see one ? The more I look at the ST I think I might go that route in a year or two, add the Corbin saddle bags , heated seat and trunk box and I'm way cheaper then a new RTS . I loved my old RS and spent a fortune trying to make it into a RT and now BRP has done it for me .

:yikes: And how would I get it back to Mississauga:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

The 2013 US prices for RS's and RT's went up and the Canadian stayed basically the same so it's getting closer. 2 years ago you could buy a RS in the US pay for gas, hotel room, US export permit and Canadian safety conformance certificate and still have more than $3,000.00 left over in your pocket.

I think that I owe an apology... :opps:
The way I read your location, it seemed to me that you'd be in Texas from January to May...
Sorry!

But riding it back IS a good idea!

I am pretty sure that the safety conformance certificate is a process similar to the US safety and environmental certifications required on all vehicles. Each country has their own way of doing things. Let's not even think about California rules being different from the rest of the US here.

Don't forget the 13% duty you are going to pay and no warranty honored in Canada .
