Hi Folks, Just wanted to say Hi as a new 2015 Spyder RTS owner. Have had it about 4 weeks now and do find that my 2007 Vstar 1300T gets no attention now. I got the red one as I believe someone on here said that red was the fastest Ha Ha . I have to say that there is a lot of information on this site and have to say thanks to all those folks with valuable information. This site is a bad influence as after my first service the other day, it is costing me money. Not for the service but for the add on's. My dealer had the lights for the front fenders and the rear break/turn for the trunk. Just chatting with the sales person and parts person and they talked me into these and said they would install them if I would give them a little while. We had been discussing various things, that I and they had seen on this site. They just received a shipment of parts ordered (while I was paying for service and lights) and had the RTscuff guards, so we took it back in the shop and installed them as well. He also received some bajaron sway bars and asked if I was interested in anything else. I mentioned the bumpskid that I had seen on this web site. He is going to order some of those as well now. I blame all you folks and suppliers on this site for making me spend money....Ha Ha.
I do love the ride and have put many miles on various two wheel machines in the past. Looking forward to more trips back west again to see kids and grandkids on new machine. Find it a big difference on long ride not having to muscle a 900+ bike around when loaded with gear. I appreciate the wealth of information and support from various people and vendors on this site. This bike has me now making 400 km coffee runs.
Wish you all safe riding this season and maybe we will cross paths someday.
Daryl
