• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder rider - thought I had a shifting problem, but found this...

I've been riding my 2014 RSS for about a month. When I tried to shift from 1st to Neutral, sometimes nothing would happen. I would have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it to work. I recently came across this (attachment) in the Service Manual. I realized that when downshifting gears while riding, I would snap the paddle quickly, but when stopped in my garage or parking lot I did it more leisurely. From the manual, you can double shift from 1st to Reverse by pressing the R button and pulling on the paddle for 1/3 second. But apparently if you pull the paddle for 1/3 second without pressing R, nothing happens. If I snap the paddle while in 1st it shifts to Neutral every time.

Seems weird to me, but OK.
