• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New speakers

Just finished installing new rear speakers in Bruisersbaby's 2010 RTS. The original speakers went south awhile back. I installed the J&M speakers. She's happay happay happay. :ohyea: Only took about 2 hours.

Sound quality is good. Installation was fairly easy. Left side was very easy. Right side took longer because of the antenna. One thing I found was the coax wires for the antenna were barely in the ring connector. They pulled right out. I put a new ring connector on. The OEM speakers were not usable at all.

I'll see if I can post a step by step.

Probably Roger. She has to have her music while riding.

Actually they died about a year after we got the Spyder. Static, loud crackling, typical sound from bad speakers. The dealer said BRP wouldn't cover them under warranty. I took them at their word and never pursued it.
