• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Ryker

Really😲

Come on... you know the proof is in the picture..:lecturef_smilie: congrats..!! Get us details when possible...

Just received a phone call from the dealer (excellent dealer BTW) in Chattanooga, Tn. yesterday that they have just finished assembling two 900's, come on down and take a look.

Congrats to Texas.

Checked with my dealer yesterday. Said that no one is getting them until January, maybe February. He was talking specifically about the 900 Ralley (which I am getting). So maybe a bit more truth to it. When I told him that there are dealers selling them already he just gave me 'The Look'.

I'm with the rest of the posters here. I'd love to see pictures.

The dealer in Chattanooga, Tn told me yesterday that the Techs in the shop had just finished assembling two 900's, didn't say whether they were the Rally version. Did say that his accessory package was on the way however.

OK so some dealers have them some don't - how many of us (Spyder Forum) have blindly ordered one, have only seen one invoice shown. When I went to my dealer they had one that looked like, as they said, a prototype because as others have said had mixed bag of parts standard wheels, tailpiece for pass. seat and back footpegs. If any of the major car manufacturers conducted business this way they would be out of business quickly. To say they invested in training classes for riders rather than going to the New York show is like saying learn how to ride one and "maybe" we will have some for you to buy someday. Something is wrong with their market or maybe it's a Canadian thing.

All I can recommend is patience. When this whole thing started, I read an article in a Cycle Magazine, saw the picture, and wanted one. (Oct 2007).

At that time, there was talk that BRP would not serve the whole 50 states, but would be selective about it. Dealer here was largest SkiDoo dealer in the country. He wanted Spyders, and he got them.

Ours arrived in June of 2008. I got the first one sold to a customer. $500 deposit put down in Oct 2007, no test rides, no nothing. I got my third color choice (half moon silver) then it was a $500 upline option. I took it anyway.

And the rest is history.

There will be some good Ryker stories also.

No pics or review yet? Must be out riding it. I get to ride one tomorrow, really looking forward to it!
