• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi jim

Lamont has created a whole new section about the new spyder rt look on the first page or the home page and you will see the link sorry no hand brake but somebody is making an aftermarket one that seems to be doing well.

Haven't sat on one yet, but the pictures show vastly improved legroom. No hand brake, and I'm not so sure the ISCI kit will fit because there does not apear to be any open handlebar space to mount one.

The RT handlebars extend farther back and the footpegs are positioned to enable a 90 degree angle for most peoples' knees. No hand brake. Unless someone needs a hand brake because of health issues I find it not needed. I find that the footbrake reaction time is a lot faster than the hand. And using the footbrake enables me to maintain both hands with a firm grip on the handlebars. I rode 40+ years with hand brakes and never missed them when I got the Spyder.

not until the old lady with shopping cart that walked in front of me went arse over tea cups lifting her skirt and well you can imagine the rest
